Traplet
Publications
Welcome
to Traplet Publications
Traplet
Publications are world leaders in the publication of craft
and hobby magazines, books, videos and plans.
The history of Traplet Publications
Traplet
Publications was founded in 1981 by Managing Director Tony
Stephenson with the launch of their first magazine - Radio
Race Car International. The huge success of this title, and
the subsequent overwhelming demand for more high quality modelling
publications, quickly highlighted Traplet as the world leader
within this exciting field of magazine publishing. Traplet
Publications continued to expand their range of titles to
include all the major modelling disciplines, from plastic
kits to state-of-the-art jet flight.
Their success led them to widen their publication range, with
five craft titles - Patchwork & Quilting, International
Quilting Times, Sewing World, Craft Stamper and Practical
Craft - which continue to lead the market in craft publications.
Traplet Publications - Services
Traplet
also provides an impressive collection of essential books,
videos and plans which complement their craft and modelling
titles and Traplet Publications are committed to launching
a variety of web sites in 2001 and beyond. To support these
exciting ventures, and ensure that they continue to provide
the highest quality material in the future, the Traplet group
has incorporated an international video production company,
a graphic design company and a software development team to
work alongside a dedicated internet design department, all
of which will ensure that all information regarding Traplet
Publications' titles and products is easily accessible for
their many customers.
The Traplet Publications team
Working
alongside the Traplet Publications HQ in Central England,
they are globally supported by Amy Smith, the Office Manager
who runs the United States division in Champaign, Illinois
with her established team, and Dave Burns and John Forrest,
who service Australia and New Zealand from their New South
Wales office.
Traplet Publications are also supported by a vast array of
authors, contributors and photographers around the world who
work with them to provide the very best of a wide range of
hobbies for their publications.
Traplet is stronger than ever in 2001 with an ongoing commitment
to provide even more magazine, book and video titles. Traplet
Publications will be present at many events across the globe,
some of which they have been proud to organise or sponsor
for many years, and, over the coming months, you'll be seeing
more of their activities on the internet.
As always, Traplet is dedicated to bringing their readers,
viewers and surfers the very best on offer from the craft
and modelling world in 2001 and beyond.
